The AFA was freaking awesome! 8DD I'm broke now, though. Sadface. Other than that, I've changed my phone, XD-ed too many times in a sms message during Grandma's birthday dinner, survived with no food for 12h and got about 2h of sleep last night before having to go to church in the morning~! FINALLY! My holiday is starting to sound like one!
I got up at 930am to make cupcakes for the group before going. It was hell cos I slept at 2am. But they tasted pretty good, considering I was half alseep and stuff~! And at any rate, they were good enough to trick JY into closing his eyes while we wrestled Dione's awesome cat ears (and a ribbon) on him and took below's pictures. :PPPP BLACKMAAAIL!
Arrived late at around noon so we hung outside for a while waiting for Elaine. We gave up and went in, (Gomen, neechan!)got Becca her Ben 10 merchandise and looked at things. Yes. We looked at things. Dione's awesome cat ears, which she had actually lent me first, were kind of dropping off my head so I gave up and got myself a hat. It cost me 30 bucks. Kill me, please. But apparently it was cute, so ohwell~! (You can see the blasphemy at dA, btw. ID-ness.) It now has a Sebastian and Ciel on either side..
I will condense, cos I'm getting sleepy. EPIC was: DO-U-JIN-SHI-BOOTH. Right, Dione? We spotted lots of Kuro doujins and one anthology(below).

We ended up also queueing for half an hour and paying 100 bucks in one shot for 6 people to enter the Moe Moe Kyun Cafe. Waste of bloody money, I swear. But yeah. Life's liddat at conventions like these. 8DDD (I think I blew 50 bucks in total at the convention... Not bad...)

Ahaha! Awesomeness! I feel awesomer than yesterdaaay~! (happyhappyhappyface) Ok lah so my temperature rose from 36.6 to 37.1 degrees, but I'll sleep it off! Heck, I probably would have slept and drank it off already.
Other than that, I tested out the lemon and cream cheese cupcake recipe I decided to make for the people going to AFA. It's yummy....
Did I mention, I've been so bored that yesterday I reread the How to Draw Manga book I snitched from Kuro a long time ago (I asked ok!) and used the face proportion templates for a couple of heads? I even coloured them in. And they're actually pretty decent looking! Hm. Time to hunt down a scanner and put that in my Scraps, I think. ;____; ....If this isn't an indicator of how much I need to get out more often, I dunno what is.
Sigh. Nothing interesting happened lately. >< Life should go shopping for new toys. I need to find decent song tabs. Sigh.
I saw the doctor today, and BANG BANG POW I'm down with a bacterial infection. Apparently if I had gone in for checkup later I would have gotten an all-out bronchitis. Aaaaah. Life sucks. So much for awesome timing to get sick, right? AFA IN 6 DAYS OK!!! (cryingface) Somemore I missed the lunch with church classmates and leaders today at Subway after biblestudy cos I wasn't allowed to go church. Life sucks more.
Sore throat, cough, blocked nose and a splitting headache = no citrus, cold drinks (WTF?!) or fried stuff. As prescribed by doctor. Plus, my mum won't let me have toasted stuff like bread. Or bagels, which I've recently come to like eating. We've only got oranges in the fridge. I can't eat oranges cos of my throat... And I'm hungry as hell, only I can't eat cos if I do I'll just throw it all up. Eh. >< I even managed to nap an extra 5 hours today. And yet I still feel sleepy. And my mother says I can't go AFA if I don't get well by then. Bullshit. Where is the logic in that!?!? Just as well, my dad cut off my Internet again by 5 hours. I'm only allowed online from 8.30 to 10.30pm.
Ok. No more whining. Me dad and I restrung my guitar! And I only had to pay for strings... Which actually cost me 9 dollars cos they're phosphor bronze. (If you total up the total I spent on the strings it's $16.50 cos I wasted my first pack. That's 3/4 of the money I earned. Bullshit.) My fingers are killing me... But my barre chords sound so much nicer now~!

BAW STUPID GUITAR STRINGS I PAO U WITH MAH LAYSHUR! (HUH!!!)
My guitar e string (the thinnest one) snapped yesterday when I was trying out a new tuning for Thunder and turned the tuning key the wrong way. So today on the way to Megan's house, I bought a new set and attempted restringing at her house. THE e STRING SNAPPED AGAIN. AND WHIPPED MY LEFT HAND ON THE SAME SPOT WHERE I GOT WHIPPED LAST NIGHT. Bullshit.
So I clipped it off with pliers and stupidly went to go and try to get the knot (we were attempting different ways of tightening the string while tuning) out with my finger. It drew blood. I feel stupid. (And sometimes I wonder why, you know..)
And for the record, I'm 'broke' until after the AFA. I spent $7.50 on those strings. And since they snapped and I restrung them wrongly I figure I should go to the shop and ask them to do it for me tomorrow. I just checked the website. THEY CHARGE. Wtf. *wallet bleeds* Should have figured, ne. (Click on the image below to see it clearly)
Plus, the sore throat still hasn't let up. 8C Becca found out and immediately proclaimed it to be a throat ulcer. Geez. When I die, Bec, you're not getting my money.
Speaking of Becca, we were at said Megan's house today doing a cover for Little Wonders by Rob Thomas. When Megan and I were recording and finished (more or less), we opened the door to a halfwit-faced Becca holding up her index finger, which had a fake thumb that lit up on it.

Like making cat ears with Dione, AFA, post-AFA shopping for jewelry-making materials, movies, etc. And I've been working alot lately, which is actually quite cool; just that I can't stand the annoying, spoilt 10-year old expatriate girls alot. ><><) I also have to test out recipes for cupcakes cos Becca went to tell the whole wide world that I can cook.
Now it's probably sounds like I've planned out my entire holiday, but I haven't! Let's be fairly honest here: sitting infront of a TV or my computer screen or messing around in the kitchen the whole day is really not productive. It is also unhealthy. Even if I've been eating lots of fruit lately. (...due to the fact that when I was watching Death Note, I wondered why Ryuk [shinigami = death god] could live so long and concluded that it was because he ate alot of apples. Next thing I know, I walk over to the vegetable crisper and got myself an apple. Epic fail, I know..)
Actually, I would happily spend my time on Facebook but I can't due to the fact that Facebook is utterly dead, and even the awesomeness of the 2000+ comment photo has now slowed down from 100+ comments per day to a few alerts every now and then. This should be a fail indicator of how fail my holiday is. I should go running. Yeah. Running. And practising Little Wonders on my guitar for the upcoming cover. Though there's only so far one can go before blisters appear on the fingers. (Did I mention, I can play the acoustic now?)
Other than abovementioned fail, I have accomplished something (finally) at the very least!~ Last night/this morning I completed making my new mismatching (yet again) earring design and as of a couple days ago, more or less finished the shading for Cain's face. Yes. I only drew his face. And a thought bubble of Japanese pudding with caramel sauce cos I was hungry. (These should be submitted on dA once I get them photographed/scanned in.)
